STAGESTRUCK SUMMER CLASS DETAILS
This summer StageStruck is offering a wide variety of classes to our students that will hopefully do more than just get them out of the house! Teachers are offering subjects that are not only educational but also interesting and fun.
These classes are available for StageStruck students and anyone else interested in participating, so please share this information with those who might be interested.
Due to COVID-19 requirements:
Class size is restricted to 15 with social distancing. All registrations will be taken on a first come first serve basis.
We will provide hand sanitizer for students.
We strongly suggest masks, but they are not required. Please use your own discretion in regards to wearing masks.
Cleaning/disinfecting will take place between each class.
We will be offering:
Choreography classes taught by Loren Burke where they can learn dances from specific musicals.
Sewing classes taught by Joanne Ignatius, where they will make a coronavirus mask.
Wigology, costume design and foley classes(foley is the process of reproducing everyday sound effects for plays and film production.) will be taught by Kayln Murray Gartrell
Theatre classes will be taught by USM Theatre students Joann Shaver and Joey Kaar.
Dr. Erin Frick will be teaching classes on ocean animals and animal enrichment.
Be aware when you are registering that all classes are not alike. These classes may be 2 or more hours long and possibly 2 or more days a week. Your child may register for as many classes as they wish to attend.
If there are more than 15 students requesting a class, we can arrange for some of the classes to have an overflow class in the evening or during another week. If you are unable to register for your desired class, please send an email to stagestruckperformancestudio@gmail.com OR call Brenda Shows at 601-408-8201.
Ten students are required for a class to “make.”
We are no longer using Class Juggler so you will need to register on our website (http://www.stagestruckstudio.com) and pay using PayPal or Venmo only.
If you would like to purchase a StageStruck T-shirt, there will be an option to purchase one from the “Summer Classes” page.
